Kenneth Chong
Director
Kenneth is the Director of McMillan Woods NZ. He holds a Certificate of Public Practice, is a Qualified Auditor in New Zealand, and is a registered Tax Agent with the IRD. He is also an external assessor for CPA Australia.
With 15 years of corporate experience across Asian public listed companies and European multinational corporations, Kenneth has held senior leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Group Financial Controller and Regional Business Manager.
Kenneth began his international chartered accountancy practice in 2003 and has been practising in New Zealand since 2011. His areas of expertise include statutory auditing, accounting, taxation, and business advisory.
Combining extensive commercial experience with deep public practice knowledge, Kenneth is well‑equipped to advise a wide range of business enterprises. He is passionate about delivering value to clients and strengthening governance processes.

Sean Wang
Audit / Assurance Manager
Based in NZ since 2008, Sean is an experienced accounting and audit professional with a background in both commercial and public practice, bringing a well-rounded perspective to his work.
He has worked in public practice since 2015, managing a diverse portfolio of clients and providing services including financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and advisory support. He has also worked closely with clients to train and support their internal accounting teams, giving him a strong practical understanding of day-to-day finance operations.
Sean is now the Audit & Assurance Manager, leading audit engagements and working closely with management and boards to deliver high-quality, practical outcomes. He is known for his ability to relate well to people, enabling effective communication with clients.
In addition to his professional work, he has served in governance and treasury roles within charitable organisations, reflecting his strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to service.

Binny Shi
Accountant
Binny Shi joined McMillan Woods NZ in 2024 as an Accountant, bringing with her a decade of experience in the commercial sector overseas. Her professional background encompasses ten years working as an accountant, where she developed expertise in various aspects of accounting within international environments.
In her current role, Binny is responsible for Business Advisory, taxation, and financial statement audits. She ensures compliance with New Zealand’s accounting and auditing standards, supporting clients in meeting their statutory reporting and taxation obligations. Her commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance has made her a reliable resource for clients seeking professional accounting support.

Kayden Chea
Accountant
Kayden began his career with McMillan Woods New Zealand in 2024, taking on the role of Accountant. Before joining McMillan Woods NZ, he gained two years of valuable audit experience in Malaysia. Throughout his professional journey, Kayden has worked in both auditing and Business Advisory Services (BAS) roles, which has enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and internal accounting processes across a diverse range of industries.
Kayden’s primary focus lies in business advisory, taxation and auditing. He is dedicated to building trusted relationships with clients, delivering reliable advice, and preparing reports tailored to meet their individual needs.

As a dedicated accountant in financial reporting, tax compliance, and business advisory, Shirley passionate about helping clients make informed decisions that drive growth and her greatest job satisfaction comes from forming strong relationship with her client and has the being able to assist them with their tax issues.

Edward Yeo
Business Advisory Accountant
Edward has over 35 years of experience in the corporate and in public practice. He has 27 years’ experience in the corporate and commercial sector where he was the Corporate Controller and Financial Controller for oversea multinational corporation in manufacturing, projects and service industries. He had been in public practice since 2018.
Edward is customer friendly with great organisational and management reporting skills. He is advising clients on management accounting and budgeting matters, tax compliance and filings of GST/PAYE/FBT/Income Tax for individual, sole trader, partnership, company, family trust and rental properties.
